I'm trying to use a custom colour for all email messages but when I try to
set the default colour for all messages I can only choose from a dozen or so
colours.

If I go into format>font I can manually change the colour to the custom
colour I want by clicking the 'more colours...' button but it would be handy
if I could set this as a default rather than changing it every time.

Any ideas ?

It is not possible for Outlook 2003 and previous. Outlook 2007 has a full
color pallet to choose from.

Roady,

Thanks for that.....looks like I'll just need to do it the long way until I
get round to upgrading !

Thanks again,
