How do I transfer WLM Storage Folders to Outlook 2007?

Hello,

I am trying to move my "Storage Folders" on "Windows Live Mail" (WLM) on an
XP system to "Microsoft Outlook 2007" on a Vista system. I've tried what I
consider the obvious transfer, export/import, backup/restore options that I
can find and I've run out of ideas.

Thanks for the help!

Have you tried moving them to WLM on the Vista system then exporting to
Outlook on the same system?

everything I have read seems to imply that there is no guarantee for this, so
why attempt without guarentee?

And where did you read "there is no guarantee"? People do this all the time.
Just do it and see what happens. (you won't lose the original data by doing
this....)

There's no guarantee but it's a better path to follow.

There's no guarantee you'll live to see the end of the day, either, but you
still get out of bed in the morning. Why attempt it, if there are no
guarantees?

It's relatively straight-forward to move your Windows Live Mail data from XP
to Vista, configure WIndows Mail on Vista to use it, then export that data
directly to Outlook. There uncountable descriptions on the Internet that
describe how. Google will find them for you.
