Im not sure what a thumbnail exactly is except for shrinking the image
putting a border on it, and preserving its resolution. but all you do is
insert an image to the page, right click it and make it a thumbnail, then
after its a thumbnail you can give it a hyperlink, hope it helped

it is just a "mini" version of a larger version of the same image, usually
linking to the large image. It saves page loading time to load the thumbnails,
then only when you click one of the little images, will it load the large image,
instead of hogging bandwidth loading the large images all at once.

Thansk for your reply. I have tried to auto-thumbnail an image, but the text
in the image was distorted when it shrank to thumbnail size. Any suggestions?
