Where do tasks go when moved to a mail folder w/ Ctrl-Shift-V?

I use keyboard shortcuts a lot, including Ctrl-Shift-V to move mail items to
folders within my Inbox.

By accident I did that while I was on the task list on the To-Do bar. Now I
have items which disappeared when I did Ctrl-Shift-V and had a mail folder
highlighted. The tasks are gone from the task list, but I can't see them in
the mail folder either.

Anyone know how I can get my tasks back?
