I am receiving several email daily from MSNBC News but cannot find a way to
unsubscribe. This is not something I have requested and has appeared since I
set up my new email account. Can anyone please help?

Is it an RSS subscription or regular email?
If RSS then right-click on the MSNBC subscription in Tools | Account
Settings RSS feeds

I am having the same issue with MSNBC Headline emails everyday, often many times a day. There is no unsubscribe link and it is not an RSS subscription. I'm at a loss as to how to stop them. There were 107 of them in their own file in Outlook when I discovered they had been coming in for the last two weeks when I set up Outlook.

That link deals with MS Newsletters, not RSS Feeds.

I have the same issue with BBC news - I didnt subscribe to this and there is
no unsuscribe button, 40-50 unwanted emails every day - driving me nuts. Does
anyone know how to stop this? I've tried the outlook help tricks but they
still keep coming back!

Are they emails or RSS feeds? There is also a virus going around that fakes
email from news sites.

In any event, if you can't get unsubbed, this is the one thing that the
blocked senders list is good for - or create a rule to delete messages from
the sender.

In office 2007 they are easy to stop. There is a method to uncheck RSS feeds
in tools|options|other and mail format | advanced

In 2003 I can not find where to stop them so every time I boot into xp and
use office 2003 the feed from msnbc start flowing into the RSS folder.

Anyone know where to stop them in 2003?
