Hi there,

I got this comment from an acquaintance, and was wondering how to stop this:

Every day for no reason, my Outlook e-mail opens a new e-mail with your
address in the "To" box. This has been happening for a week now.

Is it possible that this person's outlook has been infected by a virus?
Could it be a draft that needs to be deleted?

I appreciate your help.

Hard to say at this level of detail.
Could be a macro, could be an add-in, could be...
Either way, I doubt a virus.

I got a bit more detail from the person in question. I asked him:
Do you think it might be an unfinished draft? What happens if you send the
message?

What he replied was:
I have nothing in my drafts folder, and I have never sent you an e-mail
before. This all started last week.

Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?
Does it also happen when starting Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

No clue. I finally gave up and told him to contact MS directly--I figure
that's better than me playing middle-woman. Even if I do like finding
answers for people.
