how do i stop auto recovery of the documents

      1st Feb 2005
When i open office 2003 it always shows auto recovered version of some file.
But when i try to open or save that version it says "Cannot read the
specified file.". And if i save the original document then also it shows auto
recovered version at the start up. So is there any solution to stop this auto
recovery of the document
