Okay, now I need to know how to split my project into a few seperate files.
It consists of video, photos as well as music, transitions and titles. Is
there a way to split the file without having to redo it?

This is easy once you know it ;-)

Open the currnet long project. First save it as ProjectA.mswmm, then save it
again as projectB.mswmm. Now edit the two projects to remove whatever you
want to remove... e.g. from first project delete everything after the half
point and save it. Then open project b and delete the first half.
