how do I speed up ftp to remote site?

Hi, I'm experiencing very slow ftp transfer rates to any remote site when
publishing . (9 hours) I have a functional broadband conection and all is
well other wise. any suggestions?

I'd say this is an ISP issue - perhaps you've exceeded your bandwidth
upload/download quota, and your speeds have been "shaped" because of the
excess usage?

How many files are you publishing? 9 hours seems an extraordinary long time.
Are you using FP to do this? Otherwise, first check with your ISP/Host, and
then with a newsgroup supporting the FTP application (if not Frontpage) that
you're using.
