How do I span Fat32? can i convert it to NTFS?

I got my Acer c303Xmi pre fat 32 partitioned, i dont want 2 partitions i only
want one. I know i can span NTFS, but i do not know how to do so with Fat32,
and i do not know how to convert the drive to NTFS...

Please help me eliminate the partition

I don't think you can span FAT volumes. To convert FAT to NTFS, do this:
- Click Start / Help / Search tab
- Type Convert NTFS
- Read the detailed instructions

Even with NTFS you can't span the system volume that was created during
installation. You will need some 3rd party software. Here is one option:

Hi, Quintin.

To convert FAT32 to NTFS is easy, using Convert.exe, as Pegasus said.

Combining 2 partitions into one is not so easy - and it has nothing to do
with FAT vs. NTFS. Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) will create, delete and
format volumes, and DiskPart.exe (used VERY carefully!) can Extend a volume
into contiguous unallocated space. But Microsoft doesn't sell anything
that will shrink, split or combine basic volumes.

So you have just two real options:

1. Invest your time - backup/repartition/reformat/restore, or

2. Invest your money - Partition Magic or something similar.
