I would like to be able to sort Sent messages into project folders I created.
I thought I saw somewhere a window that would pop up after a message was
sent asking where to place the copy of the sent message with a drop-down to
choose from all of the mail folders.

The easiest way is to simply drag the e-mail to the desired folder you created.

You probably want to see to whom the e-mail was sent, right? There is a way.

Within the Sent Items folder you created, right click on the header item
"From". Select "Arrange by" and then "To". Your saved e-mails within a
particular folder will then be arranged by the recipient. Very useful when
trying to find an e-mail to a particular recipient. You may have to the the
"Arrange by.." on each project folder.

While this will work, it also creates quite a bit of work for me before hand.

Have any other suggestions?

Maybe I need a script of some kind?

For now, I think the best solution, without a script or creating a dozen
rules or so, is probably to sort the emails into the folders BEFORE I reply
to them. Then the setting that places the replies with the originals will
place the sent item in the correct folder. Thanks for the help though.
