I have saved an animated GIF from a web site and copied it to a PowerPoint
presentation. When I go into slide show view, it animates, but it is much too
fast. Is there any way to slow it down?

Not in PowerPoint. You need a program similar to ImageReady (bundled with
Photoshop) to change the speed of the animated image.
Hope this helps!!!
