I'm trying to build a jeopardy game using power point. If I can click on
topic for 50 - it will take me to the "answer" and a response. All I can
find so far is to manually type in a slide number - no good - or to use
Hyperlinks - I think the hyperlinks may be too slow and would prefer an
action button that takes me to slide # 14 or something similar....

Thoughts?

Right click on shape
select action settings
select On Mouse Click
select hyperlink to ... (trust me)
on the pulldown list scroll down to "Slide..."
Select the slide you want to jump to
click ok twice

This is fast and will do what you want

You may also want to look at some of the existing Jeopardy games available
on-line, unless you are doing this as a learning tool.

Thanks - I figured it out about an hour later but getting the ppt template
from the referenced website was really helpfull. I can tweak this for my
