how do i shut the security center up?

hi,
i have the security center tell me everyday that I should let it download
updates automatically, but i dont want it to do that. I have dialup and its
very slow so it takes a long time to do anything without windows downloading
in the background. what do i do?

      8th Nov 2004
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Security Center
On the left side click "Change the way..."
Make selections from there.
