How do I set a right margin on an email page?

I send out a newsletter and I have had complaints that recipients need to
move the screen to the right to read the whole line. Apparently my screen is
wider than theirs as I don't hvew this pro blem. How can I limit the length
of the line so that when they receive the email it is not so wide?
