I cannot get the program X1 to index- it says that my Outlook does not allow
indexing of external .pst files and I need to set it to allow for that.

Operating system and version of Outlook is?
X1 is the best place to ask this. Outlook indexing options are set via
Indexing Options in Windows Control Panel for Vista. Outlook Search Options
are set via Tools | Options | Preferences tab | Search Options button for
Outlook 2007.

Thanks for the reply. I am running XP Pro and Office 2003. What is puzzeling
to me is that I have installed this combination many times and never had this
problem before. I did remove the trial versions of Office 2007 before I
installed Office 2003.
