In previous versions of Outlook I was able to set Outlook to receive new
messages immediately on connecting. I cannot find this option in 2003 and
this is driving me nutty. The help files say that it can be done but how?
On my last computer I merely upgraded to Office 2003 and all my settings
migrated. I have a new computer and I am installing to a clean machine and
have no previous settings to keep.

All you need to do is set up an automatic polling interval in Tools >
Send/Receive Send/Receive Settings >
