I have my home computer with an HPLJ 1022 printer connected as the
default/USB printer.

When I remote to my office computer I don't see my HPLJ 1022 as an optional
printer. How do I make sure I have this to print from my office to my home,

I have checked the box in the Remote Desktop connection to share printer.

Thanks

Right Click on your RD Connection, Edit, Local Resources Tab, put a tick in
Printers

Hope it helps

Just install your printer driver into the remote server that you wish to be
connected with.

BTW, is your printer using DOT4? If so, this article might be an interest to
you...
