I accidentally deleted three of my websites from within frontpage. I cannot
find any way to restore them. The files are not showing up in the recycle
bin. Someone help me please, I'm desperate. I can't believe it was that easy
to delete the files with no warning and no way to recover them.

P.S. The files were on my local drive, not yet published to the web. I was
just trying to clean up some files, and accidentally deleted the web sites.
I'm about to have a heart attack

You don't unless you have a back copy or copy on a live/remote server that has the FP extensions so
that you can publish back from.

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a

Anyone know a good file recovery tool? Jeesh... I've loved FP so far... I
cannot believe it was that easy to delete 40 hours worth of work. One of the
sites was one page... one site I can recover from the web... the other was
never published. I'm screwed... Since I update my sites daily, I guess I'll
be backing up daily, eh?

If he did it from Explorer, he would have been warned, and it would have
ended up in the recycle bin.

There's a pretty hefty warning when you delete from within FP as well.

Live and learn. I've made it a habit to take the extra 3 minutes and back up
on a CDRW. It has saved me a few times when I've deleted componants that I
should have not. Best of luck!
