I am unable to access my development website and get the message, "cannot
find web server at "steve" on port 80" where "Steve" is the website name. The
website is on another computer running Windows 2000, to which I am networked.
As far as I can tell, no changes have been made to either system (I run
Windows xp) although my the other computer recently had a software bug
problem that we have now resolved. The obvious solution, I thought was to
publish the website from the outside server back to the local computer, but
Windows 2000 allows only one website. Since we are unable to access it at all
and cannot delete the original website, we can't copy another one to it. Can
anyone suggest what might have happened and more importantly what we might
try to resolve the problem.

Install FP on the other computer. Windows 2000 Pro w/IIS and Windows XP Pro w/IIS do not allow
remote FP authoring.

In response to T.A. Rowe's suggestion. Frontpage is installed on both the
Windows 2000 computer and the Windows xp computer. I have been authoring the
website on the 200 computer from the xp computer for years. Any other
suggestions?
