Just took some Christmas video clips with my digital camera (not camcorder).
I want to send them to the kids, but the size is too restrictive (52 MB).
Is it possible to "resize" a video clip?

you could zip it, but I don't think it will help much. You best bet is
putting it on a file server and sending the url.

Friends use yousendit.com but there are many others:

Assuming you have AVI files, you could use the Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP)
to convert them to WMV files, which are playable in Windows Media Player.

The procedure would be to import the AVI file, drop it into the Time Line and
then select an option from the Finish Movie section. I would NOT recommend
selecting "Send in e-mail" due to the low quality of the final resolution. A
better choice is "Save it to my computer". This would reduce the 52 MB AVI file
to something like a 6.5 MB WMV file. Still a large file size for
e-mail.....which some ISPs may stop.

As an alternate soultion, you may want to consider burning the AVI files to a CD
and then use snail-mail.
