I'm confused. If you don't have Word, how will you even view Word docs
without the Viewer? I would guess that if it was installed, you should be
able to uninstall it through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
Possibly you're talking about a trial version? That should also have an
uninstall option.
FWIW, if you want to get Word very reasonably, you can get Word 2002 (along
with several other useful programs) as part of Works Suite for under $100.
