I was trying to reduce the number of items in my Email Archive and
accidentally deleted the entire Inbox. I have not turned my computer off
because I am hoping that the data are still somewhere on the disk and
available to retrieve. I have a PST file that was backed up in November but
I don't want to re-load that until I have tried to retrieve the file that is
current.

did you empty the deleted folder in the archive folder?
