How do I reclaim emails from Outlook to Outlook Express?

After a download my email was changed to Outlook. When I opened it there
were several new messages. When prompted to revert to Outlook Express, my
default email system, I did so but the new messages did not appear. How do I
find those new messages seemingly locked up somewhere in Outlook?

In order for outlook to have received mail you must have configured it with
accounts.
In outlook export msgs to OE
Within outlook, under Options set it not to send/receive on opening & set it
not to poll (automatic send/receive) for mail

You can't do that - there is no "export to OE" function.....you can import
within OE however....

Open OE and do File-Import-Messages-Outlook.

I guess if I'd used OE mail I might have known that
