I have old messages archived in my Gmail inbox. I have just switched from
Mozilla Thunderbird over to Microsoft Outlook 2007. Is there any way to
re-receive those older messages in my GMAIL web inbox over to Microsoft
Outlook? Or anyway to transfer messages from Thunderbird to Outlook?

Any help is appreciated!

Never mind, I got it. I clicked on File -> Import -> From Outlook Express or
Windows mail. DUH! Stupid me.

That now means that all your imported messages have the SAME date - the
date of the import. You will find that a problem if and when you come to use
the archiving function in Outlook. You should have done it the other way
round and exported FROM OE.......

Actually it imported it based on the date I received the email. I thought it
would post as the import note as well but it didn't, lucky me! Well, anyway
the date isn't too important. I just needed the info in the email. Thanks
though Gordon

It's the MODIFIED date that has changed - and outlook archives on the
Modified date....
