Minimize all application screens on the monitor. Click on the desktop
once. Now press F1. Enjoy doing a portion of the reading that you
are expected to perform since YOU are the administrator of your
operating system.

I see that you've already had several answers, but I also have seen many
people recently who erroneously use the word "reboot" when they mean that
they want to reinstall Windows.

Since most people know how to reboot, but not everyone knows how to
reinstall, my guess it that you really mean "reinstall," not reboot.

If that's the case, we'll be glad to help you, but first please confirm that
that's what you want.

Also, tell us why you think you should or need to do this. It's usually a
mistake.

And one more question. Did your computer come with Windows pre-installed? If
so, did you get any Windows CDs with it? Exactly what does it say on the
label of those CDs?

Why even go to Command Prompt, just run the command from Run dialog.

For a warm reboot, click Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart. For a
cold reboot, click Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off; once the PC has
shutdown, turn it back on using the power switch.
