What sound format are you using? If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor.

After converting to wav format, for playing sound across multiple slides:
Click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Under modify transition, click on the
sound drop down bar.
Select [other sound].
Choose the wav file you want to add.
Then click OK.
