I want to start an MP3 file and be able to pause it for class discussion,
then restart it from the pause point, not have it go back to the beginning of
the track. I could do this in PowerPoint Professional 2002, but not in 2003.
Has this option be changed in someway or removed? I like 2003 better than
2002, but I need this option. What do I do?

Select the sound icon and in custom animation sound actions > pause
Double click the entry and in timing set a trigger either the icon itself or
something else eg a button. Click to pause - click to restart
