I recently added a second hard drive but have no idea what to do now. When i
click my computer the new hard drive isnt there. My bios sees it and even
the disk namagement sees it but says its unallocated. Can someone please
help me finish installing my second hard drive? Thank you in advance.

You need to go to Control Panel/administrative tools/computer
management/disc management
You should see you new HD there...........right click it and pick "format"

Search the XP Help and Support Center (installed as part of XP) for
"partition disk".

It'll tell you about the Disk Management tool. (Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, Computer Management). You'll need to create one or
more partitions, and then format it. (NTFS is recommended, but use FAT32 if
you need to be able to write to the drive from a DOS-based utility like
Norton Ghost.)
