I inherited a web page created in Frontpage 97. Are there any extra steps or
conversion issues I should consider before I attempt to modify it using
frontpage 2003

No. If it's already on the local computer, just make sure you open the
WEB before opening any files within the web.

If it's a web on a remote server with FP extensions, open the remote
version, then PUBLISH back to your home computer. If it's not on a
server with the FP Extensions, make sure you FTP EVERY file, back to
your local version, then open the folder with FP. If FP asks you "do
you want to convert this folder to a web", say YES. Make any changes,
then publish back to the remote.
