how do I open same emails in office outlook and my server email?

When I open my emails in Office Outlook, it moves all of my emails from my
server account and I can no longer open them in my serve email accout. How
do I solve this?

POP account? Set Outlook to leave a copy of messages on the server. This
setting is in the POP account setup.
