I recntly had a disk crash and had to do a recovery of Windows XP SP3 and
applications. I have a problem with Outlook 2003 which is working OK but I
cannot open my archived files (Outlook.pst) I get a message which tells me
Windows cannot open the file since it does not know which program to use. I
have gone to MS Outlook help page but cannot find the file. Can anyone help
please?

Use Outlook to open the file (File -> Open -> Outlook Data File.

The PST is an Outlook data file. Only Outlook can open this file. Use File >
Open from within Outlook.
