We are trying to create I Spy books. I need the pointer to not change to a
hand in a MouseOver event when I move the pointer over a hot spot. I have
set the action settings on the mouseover event to none and on a Mouse Click
to go to next slide. I have set the slide transitions to not change on a
mouse click so that you have to hit the hot spot with a mouse click. All of
that works well. But the hot spot is given away every time you move the
pointer over the hot spot, the pointer changes to a hand.

If you assigned this Action Setting to an Action Button you are out of luck
(default setting). If you assigned this to some sort of image or other
object, you can right-click that object, select "Action Settings", then
uncheck the "Highlight Click" option at the bottom left.

Bill, I don't think that will work, the highlight relates to a flash
type thingy on the object not the style of the pointer.
Well 2003 at least.
