How do I make parts of a form Required? Any help please?

Right click on the form properties and use validation.

I've done that and it still allows the form to be sent rhrough. I have
clients who are sending me updates without putting their name or comapny so I
don't know which client to apply the cahnges to. I'm obviously doing
something wrong.
