I send quite a few emails to a company that barely ever actually receives
them (because of their isp). My problem is that i tend to receive the blame
for not sending them, and i was wondering if there is a way to make outlook
give me a receipt for each email, showing the date and time that it was sent.
This way i can print off the receipts and be able to show them that I did
send the emails. What i want most out of this is something that i can print
out, and i have found that printing out the "sent items" list is not very
reasonable considering the amount of emails that i send to this and other
companies. I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003

You can try requesting a Delivery Receipt on the message. It's in options.
I'm not sure I'd check the box to make it default, since you'd get *alot* of
notifications, but if you do, just go to Tools - Options - Preferences -
E-mail Options - Tracking Options and check the box. Unfortunately, you
can't really guarantee that a machine on the internet will actually send the
delivery receipt back.
