Do you mean on the slide itself, or are you referring to the notes section?
If you mean a series of words across the bottom of the slide that repeats on
every slide, then they can be placed on the Master slide and a highlighting
(semi-transparent) rectangle placed over the appropriate portion of the text
on each of the slides.
