I'm doing a fake "newspaper" for my school report and I'm wondering how to
make my text look like "The New York Times" text. I dont know what font that
is?

You are going to have to do some searching. I'd suggest hitting the web for
font sites and be prepared for some serious time investment.

Its called EnglishTowne and I would highly suspect that it is copyrighted
and not available for download.

Oooh - you're good. Did you already have that tidbit tucked away somewhere
in a mental file or did you search for it? :-)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I thought he meant the font of the articles.

(I'm going to have to spend some time playing around in the Famous Fonts
section - could be fun.)

The font graphic doesn't display for me, and when I go directly to the GIF
file, I get a 403 error. But I can see it at
http://www.fonttrader.com/fonts/EnglishTowne-Normal. It's a fairly
common-looking Old English font.

http://www.abstractfonts.com/fonts/s...ing.htm?kw=tow seems to
offer it free for download.
