Chances are, this question is not about Microsoft Access database software,
the subject of this newsgroup. Chances are, the online interface misled you
here, but when to try again, keep scrolling and maybe you'll find a
newsgroup dedicated to the software you are using. When you do repost, feel
free to state details of your question in the big white space underneath the
headings.

If the imaging software you use is not from Microsoft, then there are many,
many USENET newsgroups -- thousands of which you can access via
groups.google.com.

That said, when I need to change the size of saved pictures, I first make a
backup of the image file, then open the picture in my image processing
software, then manipulate it, and save it using a lossy format such as JPG,
until I get it to a usable size.
