How do I make a list of addresses?

I am new to this windows vista mail. I used to have Outlook Express.
I am wondering how to get my contacts moved over to the left hand side
of the page. I used to have my O.E. set up so that my list of
contacts would be listed right underneath where the newsgroups were
listed. If anyone knows what I'm trying to get at and if they know
how to help me, let me know!
Thanks,

The Contacts view to which you refer does not exist in WM.

You can open the Contacts folder and resize it to sit along side the resized
WM main window.

I simply click on the To: in a new mail and that brings up my contacts.
