how do I make links appear as human readable text instead of URL?

Hello,
I want to make web links appear as human readable text instead of the actual
URL in Outlook. I can handle some basic html but it is not intuitive in
Outlook.

Version of Outlook? Did you look on the insert menu when the cursor is in
the message body?
