How do I make a link to a video open in Windows Media Player?

I'm trying to get a link to open a video in Windows Media Player, but I'm not
sure how... Please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried placing a copy of the file in your web and then simply
creating a link to the file??

Yes, I've tried that, but when it opens the link, it navigates to a page
where it seems like RealPlayer is going to play it, but it says "Clip Info:
(No information available)" and the video does not play.

Please post a link so we can test and see if it behaves as you describe for
anyone else (it might be just you that's seeing it that way).
