Hi Suzanne,

Which PowerPoint version?

For 2003, go Insert Picture, From File, select your picture. Then click the
little drop down arrow on the Insert button. You will get 2 options....
Insert, or Link to File.

Sorry, it is Office 2007 and I have microsoft vista.
Also, i do not want to link it to a file ( i don't think), i just want to be
able to scroll thru a series of pictures within one powerpoint slide. Does
that make sense. (kind of like when you have a cartoon and you turn the pages
really quick and it looks like the people are moving).
Thanks,
Suzanne

Hi,

Got it. Stack the images on top of each other, then animate them to fade in.

animations tab, Custom animation Button, The Animation Task Pane will pop up
and you can animate them. A tip. align them side by side so you can click on
them ready to animate. When they are animated, then line them up on top of
each other.

problems...which animation do you recommend, i tried going under custom
animation and then appear but i not working very well and complicated because
i have over 30 images. And stacking them side by side, they don't line up on
top of each other...Am i missing something.
