how do i lighten the highlighter in microsoft word its to dark..

Right next to the Highlighter button is a tiny little arrow (triangle) click on that for a dropdown color palette.

's Computer Specifications

Word has other (bright) colors and a couple of greys, but the drop down menu
does not include the lighter color palette that is an option in Excel. If
someone knows how to access the lighter colors - it would be more pleasant,
and take less ink when printing.

I have no idea why the Word highlight palette is so basic...I always thought was kinda weird
