How do I let others know that I will be unable to answer emails?

I go out of town at certain times and want to be able to post an automatic
reply to people letting them know that I won't be available to answer their
emails. Since I am also self-employed, I want my clients to know when they
can expect a reply.

Look at the Out-of-Office capabilities in Exchange. What, you don't have
Exchange? Well, why didn't you say so in your first message.

In any case, that is what you want. If you have SBS, you can do it.

Does your ISP offer vacation message options? This would be the best answer since anything done locally risks replying to spammers.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, reh asked:
