how do i know if a keylogger is on my system?

I'm worried about the possibility of a keylogger being on my system.
No, i'm not married and flirting, I just simply want to make sure that
there's no one (hacker/trojan) remotely keeping track of my username
and password.

How can i find out?

Isn't that what Ad Aware and Spybot for?
