while putting in phone numbers in contacts it goes to (location information)
it wants me to put in number so it can check them. I want to disable this
feature.

Did you put in your area code the first time? What version of Outlook are
you using?

Thank you for responding to my question. While using outlook for the first
time. I was entering my first contact, when I got to the phone number I put
it in and then hit enter to go to the next line for the next phone number.
Location Informatiion came up it wanted area codes and wanted to dial them.
It would not let me get out or cancel. I had to control,alt, delete. end
task. I am using outlook 2007.
