Outlook has taken to opening on its own! I don't ever use Outlook and am
curious why all of a sudden I am constantly bombarded with the program
opening. I will close the program only to have it pop up again in less than a
minute. I am getting really annoyed and would really appreciate some
assistance. Thankx.

Sounds like you are infected with a mailer trojan that wants to use
whatever is the current default e-mail client. Switch to OE as the
default mail client and see if it keeps opening.

How do I change the default mail client? And if my spyware doesn't nab this
Trojan, what are my options?! I can't type 4 letters before it (Outlook
Express) comes popping up again. Now it is asking if I would like to open OE
in safe mode. Thank you for your assistance already. This is out of my realm

First you ask about Outlook keeps loading. Then you say that you
don't know how to change which is the default mail program so
presumably you haven't changed it from being Outlook. Then you say
Outlook EXPRESS is popping up. So which e-mail program do you really
mean to ask about?

Change the default mail program using the Programs tab in Internet
Options.

So WHICH *anti*-spyware tools have you used so far? Some suggestions
are:
- Lavasoft Ad-Aware
- Spybot S&D
- SuperAntiSpyware
- AVG AntiSpyware

Have you ran a full anti-virus scan of all your hard drives yet?
Which anti-virus program do you use?
