How do I keep my collapsed colored categories from expanding?

I set up color coded categories and I normaly have them collapsed in my
inbox. When I go from inbox to calendar and back, my categories ofter are
expanded. This drives me crazy, I have to take time to click on and collapse
15 categories.

Thanks

Why not use View, Expand/collapse, collapse all?

Thank you, good idea, will save me time, but is there a way to keep them from
expanding by themselves when I move around within Outlook?. I want them to
always be collapsed unles I expand one of them.

if you use the View menu method, they should stick.

View>Expand/Collapse Groups>Collapse All Groups might be quicker.
