how do i keep a display of shortcuts when working on/off line

when working online if i wish to use 2 different programs, e.g Ebay and
Yahoo, the only way i can retain access to both is by minimising the first
and then returning to the main menu to access the internet in order to get
the second choice. Is there a way i can keep these on my toolbar permanently?
