Hi, I need to install DirectC 9.0c on my Windows XP computer, but it just
says that the components have beens installed and are ready for use, but no
change at all have been made to DirectX. I think thge reason why is because I
have DirectX 9.0b.

Thanks for any and all help!

Why are you sure you've got 9.0b? Is that the output from running dxdiag?
Have you restarted since trying to install 9.0c?

http://www.microsoft.com/directx

Follow the links for Gamers
Look for "Download the latest DirectX"

You should be able to get the file DXWebSetup.EXE

Run that on your system, it'll update all your DirectX files to whatever is
current. You can keep that file and run it whenever you need to do updates.
